Question:
What is a bindlestick?

Answer:
A walking stick, used by travelers, sometimes hand carved and used to carry a bindle. The stick is used to clear paths through dense brush or for protection. Oftentimes it is autographed as travelers meet one another during their travels.

Where did Professor Sockratease get his degree from? And what is he a professor of?

Answer:
He graduated top of his class from the School of Hard Socks and he has a master’s degree in Sockology. He is currently trying to solve the mystery of the M.S.P (missing sock phenomenon)

How long are most shows?

Answer:
My shows are designed to engage the audience and range from 30 to 45 minutes in length. I also play festivals that request me to play 3 to 4 shows throughout the day.

Will you travel out of the Hudson Valley for a show in our city?

I love to travel and explore new places. Just give me a call and I'm on my way!

How do I purchase one of your CDs?

Answer:
You can always buy them at all of my shows. You can get "Songs Along the Hudson" at the following places: Three Arts, Barnes and Noble in Poughkeepsie, Taste Budds in Red Hook and Treatstation in Peekskill. If your in NYC, go to Bank Street Bookstore and have a great time. In the fall of 08, you'll be able to buy my new CD entitled "Raking Up the Shade"

Can I use your music in my classroom?

Answer:
Sure, that's what these songs were written for in the first place. A lot of my songs were inspired by classroom curriculmn. The topics, vocabulary and concepts are perfect for grades K to 5.
