Bindlestick at Governors Island Family Festival
Come celebrate opening day of Governors Island at the FREE 6th Annual Family Festival! Music and live performers, arts and crafts and maritime education fill the day. Bring a picnic and spend a great day on Governors Island!
How to get there:
Governors Island is reached by ferry, just 7 minutes from the southern tip of Manhattan. The first FREE ferry departs at 10 on Fridays, Saturdays
and Sundays from the Battery Maritime Building on South Street, between Whitehall and Broad Street, adjacent to the Staten Island Ferry. On June 5, ferries leave every half hour starting at 11.
