Happy Birthday Momo Taro!
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Isamu Noguchi's masterwork Momo Taro, which was commissioned in 1978, Storm King will present a special workshop intergrating art, music, storytelling and song. Storyteller Jill Olesker will tell the story of Momo Taro. Bindlestick Bill will create a song based on this popular Japanese fable with children and their families while Browning and Joan Kay help participants create an art project at the sculpture tables. The event will conclude with a procession to bring this all together. This "happening" is sure to be a unique experience!
